AM Swiss realized from day one that for quality to be repeatable, an effective gauging and calibration system needed to be in place. To deliver the best results for our customers, we needed the highest possible expectations for our machining solutions in Northwest Chicago. We chose to use military standards. MIL-STD-45662 Calibration System Requirements was most essential for also implementing MIL-I-45208 Inspection System Requirements. Within weeks of implementation, we received approval to supply Defense General Supply Center, Lockheed, and Honeywell Military Avionics.

Seeing the advantages to ISO certification, we became certified to ISO 9001:2015, which allowed our system to improve by stressing document control, product identification, and internal audits. Today, we are an ISO 9001:2015 compliant company that believes continual improvement is the answer to maintaining quality workmanship.
